Essay- Editing Run-Ons

    That's not a run-on where you indicate; it's the end of a fragment (dependent clause). You only need the comma. The use of "but" would indicate that the phrase before it was a complete sentence, but it wasn't. Delete the conjunction!

    While verbing..., I find myself. | Not: While verging..., but I find myself....
